Then with a nice innovative twist, we’re taking Sonic in a different direction, slow him down and he transforms into a “Werehog.” And that changes the gameplay again. For fans of Sonic that have been looking for a next-gen experience, this is the game they’ve been waiting for. Shadow’s levels can be very annoying because there’s a lot of vehicles that you have to use, and they just aren’t fun to me. Throughout some of these levels you switch between certain characters. Sometimes in Sonic’s story you’ll switch to Tails or Knuckles, as Silver sometimes you’ll switch to Amy or Blaze, and as Shadow, sometimes you’ll switch to Rouge or Omega.

I am hoping that this game can redeem 3D Sonic platformers because Sonic Forces was a total wash. Firstly, it’s been confirmed that Dr. Eggman, Tails and Amy Rose will appear in Sonic Frontiers. We also got confirmation that it’s Amy’s voice heard in the Sonic Frontiers trailer. It’s unclear if Sonic is looking for Amy, or maybe whatever is chasing Sonic is Amy transformed and brainwashed by an ancient technological machine . For Sonic Frontiers, we have seen a tentative release window, some gorgeous scenery of the world as well as some potential new enemies.
